The Builders Association Charity hosted the annual  “Comedy Cares for Kids” Comedy Showcase and fundraiser on Monday evening, May 9, 2011 at 7:00pm. In partnership with the Eldorado Resort and Casino and the Sponosrship  of Hometown Health, the show featured headliner and local favorite Kat Simmons, with Adam Stone and Dave Mencarelli.  The celebrity emcee for the evening was none other than Connie Wray from Reno’s longest running morning show, "Bill and Connie in the Morning"  on Alice 96.5. The Comedy show was held in the beautiful Eldorado showroom.   

Since its formation in 1998, the Charity has assisted local children and families struggling with financial and emotional hardship as a result of a catastrophic illness or event, our community at times of disaster or tragedy, senior citizens and the handicapped. The Builders Association Charity is proud to be the charitable organization representing the building industry and our community.
