| Builders Association Charity - Blood Drive |
The Builders Association Charity in partnership with the Builders Association of Northern Nevada and United Blood Services continues to support our community hosting a total of 6 blood drives annually. These drives are held in the board room here at the Builders Association of Northern Nevada. Donors are treated to lunch and baked goodies.
In 2010, we collected a total of 372 life saving units of blood. Donating blood is safe, simple and can be done every eight weeks. The simple act of giving blood is a heroic and heart-warming experience. It provides an opportunity for those who might not otherwise be able to give financially, to do so in a more personal manner.
